Animation of Acting and Lip Sync of Ray's character. This is my first animation of acting and lip sync for a school's practise. In this case, I used my own videoreference to sketch some thumbails of key poses, timing and spacing.
First of all, I sketched a simple storyboard to fix the different shots of my animation. Then I continued with the key poses in the blocking phase, and then, I created some extra poses with breakdowns and inbetweens. Finally, I refined and polished the whole animation.
The animation is about an intrigued character by looking for another person as an anticipation. When he finds him, he gets angry and closes the sliding door by saying the famous sentence of Gandalf (Lord of the Rings) "you shall not pass" but in Spanish version. In summary, it is other version of the scene of Gandalf in the first movie.
